[ENGLISH FOLLOWS] Au mois de mars, je célèbre l’anniversaire de la création de ma première entreprise (officielle), avec enregistrement auprès de la municipalité et permis de zone. C’était en 1998 à Richmond en Virginie, aux États-Unis et mon entreprise se nommait KAREL LORQUIN COMMUNICATIONS. Karel Lorquin était mon nom d’écrivain car depuis mon enfance, j’aimais écrire des romans, poèmes et chansons. L’entreprise offrait des services de traduction Anglais/Français et du tutorat pour anglophones et réfugiés. J’ai adoré cette expérience!

[FRANÇAIS CI-DESSUS] Every year, in March, I celebrate the launch of my first (official) business, registered with the city and with a zoning permit. It was in 1998 in Richmond, Virginia, in the US and my business name was KAREL LORQUIN COMMUNICATIONS. Karel Lorquin was my pen name as I had been writing since I was a child, I loved to write novels, poems and songs. The business offered translations services in English and French and tutoring for English-speakers or refugees. I loved that experience!
